Encouraging one another promotes peace, happiness and harmony. And when we live in harmony, we can be of one mind. That’s what unity is all about – being of ONE mind. But how can we be of one mind when our differences are so wide and seemingly incompatible? We can focus on our God-given ONEness.
We all at sometime or another experience seasons of discouragement and stressful moments.
A specific area in life that is inevitable and constant is death but yet sometimes it seems to spring on us suddenly and without warning. My encouragement to us all as we mourn the demise of our beloved Pastor is to imitate him as he imitated Christ: “Pray first, Pray always”.
Encouragement is like oxygen in the life of the church. It keeps us serving, giving, and teaching all those good stuff in the body of Christ the church.
Let’s Be like Barnabas “sons and daughters of encouragement”, a much-needed attribute today in these times of uncertainty.
