We all at sometime or another experience seasons of discouragement and stressful moments. Some being financial loss, or the loss of a love one, or times of making difficult decisions.
The Word of God has provided us with inspirational verses that encourages and inspire us to keep the faith, run the race and pursue righteousness. It indelves us with faith, love and peace as we look to Jesus; the author and finisher of our faith.
We are reminded in the many Psalms of King David that life brings with it the realities of pain, suffering, hopelessness, anger, joy, and fear. We read that King David not only felt and experience these emotions but He embraced the One who can bring comfort and peace in troubling situations. Through the life of David, we are encouraged to be courageous with the knowledge that “because He lives we can face tomorrow and all fear is gone.”
Bible verses that encourage us can be used as our morning devotions and will carry us throughout the day to season our daily conversations with all persons. They remind us of how all things work together for our good and how rich the mercies of God are and there are new supplies of these mercies every morning.
I have listed a few encouraging verses for you to mediate on and quietly pray to God to strengthen your faith in Him.
Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV) – The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.
Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) – For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
