When obedience is in the picture, trust appears right alongside it which
develops and grows faith. If you love God, you will OBEY Him.
Obedience is the key that unlocks the benefits and promises of God.
God is the mastermind, trust Him and be obedient to His Word and to
His will. Simply Trust and Obey!
Prayer is simply talking to God; it is the primary way for us as believers to communicate our emotions and desires to God and YES, I said desires. Prayer is a mighty weapon that each believer has in his or her arsenal – why not use it?
In a previous article, I exhorted readers to “Pray First, Pray Always” because for believers in Christ prayer is a requirement that is vital in building our relationship with God.
Let’s examine our prayer life and make sure when we pray we are truly praying to our unseen Heavenly Father, with a humble heart and not merely to be seen or heard by others.
God’s hands created the heavens and the earth. Jesus entrusted Himself into the ALL-POWERFUL hands of God. His hands alone are trustworthy and filled with grace and love. God’s hands lifted Jesus far above all His enemies. God is more than able to lift us up today as we put our trust in Him.
We as humans must realize that God is the architect, and He has the master plan for our lives. Trust God no matter how it seems because He wants the best for us and always has a plan for each of us.
Saints, no matter how discouraged, weak, feeble or confused we may be, we are not to lose focus but wholly trust God with all the promises He made to us.
At times, during my devotions I would write out my prayer ending with “in Jesus name I pray, Amen, Trust God Nessa”. This footnote is a reminder to me of the importance of trusting God daily. As I studied the scripture for a Biblical example of Incredible Trust in God Jochabed, Moses’ mother, tugged at my heart, she is indeed an inspiration.
Encouraging one another promotes peace, happiness and harmony. And when we live in harmony, we can be of one mind. That’s what unity is all about – being of ONE mind. But how can we be of one mind when our differences are so wide and seemingly incompatible? We can focus on our God-given ONEness.
We all at sometime or another experience seasons of discouragement and stressful moments.
A specific area in life that is inevitable and constant is death but yet sometimes it seems to spring on us suddenly and without warning. My encouragement to us all as we mourn the demise of our beloved Pastor is to imitate him as he imitated Christ: “Pray first, Pray always”.
